Standing at the rear of a long line of musical historians, Dr. Pflugg specializes in the forgotten, misjudged, and just plain weird, of musical history. These stories are sometimes educational, sometimes mildly offensive to brass and percussion players, and always very funny. They are so offbeat I just spent the last 10 minutes trying to figure out how to describe them, only to retire in ignominious defeat.
