W.A. Mozart: Operatic Highlights for 2 Oboes

In the early years of the 19th century, there was a vogue for arrangements of familiar music for two melody instruments. Numerous versions exist of works by Mozart for two flutes, two violins or two clarinets. Arrangements for two oboes or bassoons are extremely rare. This collection is derived from editions of excerpts from Mozart's opera for two flutes best suited for the oboe. Oboists shall now have as much enjoyment from these duets as flautists and violinists have done in the past!
