Forrests Smooth Sharpening Steel

Use this tool frequently to restore your knife's sharp edge. A sharp knife may feel dull because the edge has (on a microscopic scale) bent slightly so you are now scraping on the curve, not the sharp edge. The polished and hardened steel will bend the steel back and restore your sharp edge. It does not remove any metal, so it doesn't replace a sharpening stone. 3-3/4" steel with wooden handle; total length 7-1/4". Comes with a sheath.
