F. Lor�e Dutch Thumb Rest

A wider thumb rest with a separate flat body plate which adds additional thickness to the grip on the oboe, resulting in a more open hand position. The thumb rest installs on Lor�e oboes using the same screw holes as the original. The thumb plate requires drilling and tapping 2 new holes for permanent installation, or it can be attached with double sided tape. In any event, put the plate on with double sided tape first so that you can experiment to find the most comfortable location, then install it with the screws if you wish to. Fits Lorée oboe, oboe d'Amore, & English horn.
